The Lonsdale News Review wrote a great article about our Super Hero Kids program. What they're saying about us:
Super Hero Kids training is taking the phrase “stranger danger” a bit farther by teaching kids the warning signs of a dangerous person. And Tri-City United is bringing the team into the district for a trial run with its third and fifth graders. “Experts say that about one in seven children are sexually abused,” Linda Roslansky, one of the trainers for the program, said. “And over 90 percent of those are done by someone they know.” Though sexual assault might be a difficult topic to talk about, especially with kids, the Super Hero Kids training tailors its content to the various age groups to make difficult topics easier to understand.
